Portal Air Trip #2 (You’re Welcome)
Today’s new strip introduces prop master extraordinaire Harrison Krix, creator of the awesome portal gun that I purchased at the Child’s Play charity auction in December. Valve is hanging onto it for me right now.
Harrison is currently working on making a sister gun for Valve, which we will drop off when we fly out to Seattle to pick up mine. We’re leaving on May 5, so he’s under a pretty tight timetable. But he’s awesome at this, and he’s done it before, so it should be cake. Plus he can’t come unless it’s finished.
What’s cool about this is how the timing all worked out. We’ll be picking up my gun just a couple of weeks after the launch of Portal 2. And while our trip is in no way officially connected with (or endorsed by) Valve, we will be visiting Valve and Child’s Play while we’re out there to say hello to all those awesome people. And we’ll blog it right here for you fine folks!

Steve writes: Yep, it’s true, I really did back the Veronica Mars Kickstarter at the top tier, and I really do get a speaking role in the movie. This comic is making fun of the fact that some media outlets seemed to have the impression that I’m “not a fan”, which is 100% untrue. All

Steve’s comments: I came up with this idea at a dinner out with my wife. It literally fell from the sky into my mind like a hot stream of delicious gravy. All night, I couldn’t stop chuckling. When I got home I immediately sent the script to Ash. Seriously, how cool would a gravy satellite

Steve and I very much wanted to do a comic about the recent KISS concert we went to (also HOLY CRAP STEVE TOOK ME TO SEE KISS!!!) but nothing comically funny happened while we were there… well nothing that fit into a 4 panel comic, so we made up this one because we had been

This comic didn’t really happen. I have been meaning to write something to this effect for some time, but it never quite fell in to place until now. Steve and I have a LOT of differences in our personalities and tastes (and he’s also much, much smarter than I am) but there are some core

Once again, I’m going to throw up a bit of a disclaimer on this comic. I am by no means trying to speak for ALL women here. I do not believe every single girl is catty enough to think evil thoughts about their friends when they get a pretty dress/ lose some weight/ get a

This comic is pretty self-explanatory. I wanted to do a comic about going to see the new Batman movie but I didn’t really have any funny stories surrounding it. This situation happened to me years back when I was trying to hint to a friend of mine that I wanted to go see the Hulk

Steve’s comments: I wrote today’s comic about Pocket Planes, which I’ve lately been playing on my iPhone. It’s an addictive little game that has a great concept but has some very fundamental flaws. Many of these flaws have to do with the game’s bizarre economy and monotonous gameplay. But one gripe I have is that

Today’s comic is another one drawn by guest artist Zack Finfrock. It’s about… well, you can probably guess what it’s about.

Happy Canada Day, everyone! ***before you mention it, I am aware that there is a spelling error on the word “fourth” I am not in town right now and don’t yet have access to the master file, but it WILL be changed soon.*** This comic didn’t really happen per se… I was actually originally discussing

There isn’t much to say about this comic, it’s another strip based off of a real conversation between Steve and I. He did run over a nail a week or two back and we had a conversation over text that was very similar to this one (I think it may have ended with “well that
