It occurs to me , only now, how revolutionary it would have been to re-write the calendar to have 2016 end early...Why let it dictate to us the terms of stay...?

Sometimes I have bad days, but I take solace from the fact that when they're done they're done and at their end I can go and get a drink. Then there are the THOSE days. The days that are so bad that the fallout continues to haunt you for months or years afterwards. Thankfully I've only had three of those. Somehow I get the feeling however, that 2016 is going to be a year that haunts us for the next decade to come at least.
