The US is only trying to establish the same type of immigration laws that Canada already enjoys. I had the privilege of working in QC a couple of years ago monitoring the manufacture of a piece of multimillion dollar steel inspection equipment for my US employer. Canadian immigration would not let me in without work papers because Canada suspected I was taking Canadian jobs when in fact the equipment my US company purchased created Canadian jobs. Bottom line Canada does not let its southern neighbors just walk across the border and the US should not have to allow it either.
