This comic was inspired by a conversation between Geoff (Pagz) and I. The two of us were walking in downtown Victoria one day and happened to walk by the wax museum which was "closed for renovations". Now if you live in Victoria then you probably know that even though we occasionally get a special exhibit or (rarely) some new wax sculptures, the wax museum has been the exact-fucking-same FOREVER (well as long as I've been around anyway). So imagining this "newly renovated" museum, we wondered if they were just going to put the same exhibits back up in a newly renovated building (which is what my money's on) or if by some miracle they were going to substantially add to the old and put in some really cool new rooms and sculptures (not fucking likely). Then we decided that we couldn't possibly be that lucky, and if we actually paid to go see this "new" museum, the new exhibit would probably something stupid like "the history of wax" making it a literal WAX museum. We laughed about it for a good two blocks, so I just had to make it into a comic.
